台客 早期來說 有貶抑的意味

所以英文若用貶抑來說

可以用 Taiwanese bumpkin(但少用,除非用來形容過去的狀況)

但是現在台客可以說是一群代表台灣文化的人,這是一種驕傲

個人認為 可以用Taiwanese style 來代表 

     In early days, people used the word in nagtive way to depict a common Taiwanese person that wore cheap blue and white slippers,dressed very casually, chewed betle nuts,and spoke Chinese with a strong Taiwanese accent. we could call them Taiwanese bumpkins,but please do not use them now. It belittles Taiwanese. The ways Taiwanese people did belonged to some Taiwanese cultures. we cannot devalue them. 

     As far as my concerned, nowaday, the word taiker is the way to discribe a person who talks, wears, and thinks like Taiwanese. It is a culture of Taiwan. we could say we have Taiwanese style.each culture has pros and cons. we should be proud of ourselves to be one of Taiwanese people. 

     There are some Taiwanese cultures we must appreciate. If you are one of them. You can call youself as the person having Taiwanese style.

Taiwanese people are friendly. If you are the person who was born and bread in Taiwan ,and was also friendly to some neighbors or foreigners we could say that we have Taiwanese style.

Taiwanese people are filial piety to their parents. Maybe some of them are not, but most Taiwanese people show devotion for their family.  If you are, you have Taiwanese style.

Taiwanese people speak strongly Taiwanese accent whether we speak Chinese correctly or not. Furthermore,the words we use are totally different from Chinese people. if you are, you have Taiwanese style.

Taiwanese people like to wear colorful, red clothes when they are having wedding banquets. If you are, you have Taiwanese style.

There are lots of Taiwanese cuisines and snacks. If you like them. You have Taiwanese style.

     I am so proud of being Taiwanese. I have Taiwanese style, don't I.  I
